Getting started
Where do the jobs come from?
ApplyChill collects postings from company career pages and applicant-tracking systems, and every job links back to the original posting.
Do I need an account?
Browsing and searching jobs is open to everyone. You need an account to save or hide jobs, see how a job matches your profile, set up alerts and use the resume tools.
The apply button opens someone else's site.
That is the employer's own application form. ApplyChill does not receive applications and never applies on your behalf.
A job disappeared.
Postings are removed when the employer takes them down, so a job can be gone between two visits. Search again with the same filters to find similar roles.
Job match and postings
Why does a job show no match percentage?
The match is computed against the skills in your profile, so it needs two things: you signed in, and your profile lists at least one skill. A job that lists no recognised skills has nothing to compare either — it says so rather than showing 0%.
What does "Close" mean?
A skill you do not have, but which a skill you DO have is adjacent to — the chip names
it, so azure · aws reads as "the job
wants Azure; you have AWS". A close match counts half of an exact one, which is why the
percentage moves less than you might expect when one appears.
The match is wrong about a skill I have.
Tap the chip and add it to your profile. It counts immediately, on this job and every other one. Tapping a chip also lets you mark a skill you would rather not be shown.
What are the "Requirements" under the match?
Deterministic checks against your resume — years of experience, education, languages, work authorisation. They are advisory: they never hide a job or push it down the list.
What does "Open 75d" mean on a card?
How long the posting has actually been open, when that is longer than its date suggests. ApplyChill also marks a posting that has been reposted — the signals that usually mean a role is not really being filled.
I hid a job by mistake.
Open Activity and go to the Hidden tab — you can bring the job back from there.
Resume, alerts and the extension
Where do I add my resume?
On your profile. The skills and experience read from it feed the job match and the resume tools.
How do job alerts work?
Search with the filters you want and save the search. New matching jobs reach you by email, push notification or Telegram — turn the channels you want on for each search on the Alerts page, where you can also rename or delete a search.
I am not getting alerts.
Check that at least one channel is turned on for the search on the Alerts page, then look in your spam folder. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link — if you used it, turn email back on in Alerts.
What does the Chrome extension do?
It opens in Chrome's side panel on a job page, reads the posting, scores it against your resume and fills the application form from your profile. You review what it wrote and press Submit yourself. It signs in with your ApplyChill account.
Account and Pro
I cannot sign in.
If you first signed up with Google, GitHub, LinkedIn or Apple, use that same button rather than a password — the account has no password until you set one. If you did set one, use "Forgot password". Still stuck? Email us from the address on the account.
What does Pro include?
Unlimited AI resume tailoring, the "100% Match Boost" skill injector and the AI essay writer in the extension. See the pricing page.
How does the pass work?
You pay once for 30 or 90 days of every paid tool. It does not renew and nothing is charged again. Buy another pass any time — its days are added after the current one.
What happens when my pass ends?
Your account and data stay, and search, saved searches and the tracker keep working. The paid tools stop until you buy another pass.
How do I get a refund?
Not for you? Email support@applychill.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund the full amount (14 days if you live in the EU, EEA or UK). A refunded pass ends immediately. Writing from the address on your account helps us find the order.
Where is my receipt?
Lemon Squeezy emails it to the address you used at checkout. If you cannot find it, email us with the date and amount.
A charge I do not recognise.
Email us from the address on your account with the date and amount, and we will look into it.
How do I delete my account?
In a few taps — see deleting your account. It is permanent: no grace period, no recovery.
