Strategy & Business Development Manager (m/f/x)

On-site Munich, Germany Full-time

Your Role

As a Strategy & Business Development Manager in our Operations team, you own one of the most business-critical moments in FINN’s model: what happens when a car subscription ends. Every car that comes back from a customer needs to be inspected, settled with the customer and prepared for its next life, whether that’s resale or return to the manufacturer. All of this should happen quickly, cost-efficiently and with a great customer experience. You’ll build the strategy and processes for this area as FINN scales, working directly with operations, finance and external partners. It’s an entrepreneurial role with direct impact on our P&L, ideal if you love solving complex business problems hands-on.

Your Mission

  • Build and scale the process: Design how returning cars move from customer handover to resale. You’ll make the process end-to-end, standardized and ready for FINN’s growth across our locations.
  • Balance costs, revenue and customer experience: Drive initiatives that shorten turnaround times and reduce damage-related costs, while making sure customers leave their subscription with a great experience.
  • Own key partnerships: Be the go-to contact for our external partners, such as car manufacturers, vehicle appraisers and logistics partners.
  • Connect the dots internally: Work closely with our fleet, customer service and logistics teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Steer with data and improve continuously: Define the right KPIs, spot bottlenecks and identify opportunities for automation and smarter processes.

Your Profile

Must-have:

  • Degree in business administration, economics, finance, technology management or a related field.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, e.g. a startup, scale-up, VC fund or strategy consulting.

  • An analytical, structured and hands-on mindset. You’re comfortable working with data and enjoy owning projects from idea to implementation.

  • Excellent German (C1/C2) and fluent English.

Nice-to-have:

  • First touchpoints with operations, logistics, mobility or automotive, or simply a genuine interest in them.

  • Experience working with external partners and different internal teams.

No automotive background? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about the car side. What matters to us is how you think and how you get things done.
