Production Associate

Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)

Type: Temp-to-perm · Full time · 12-hour rotating shifts, day (6am to 6pm) or night (6pm to 6am)

An industrial materials manufacturer in the Charlotte area runs around the clock and is building its permanent production team. No manufacturing experience needed: you start at the end of the line and can move up quickly if you perform.

What you'll do

• Package finished material and apply labels

• Stage product for shipping and check it's correct before it leaves

• Keep the end of the line moving on a 12-hour shift

• Train on days for two to three weeks, then move to your assigned shift

What you bring

• Reliable, on-time attendance (the monthly bonus rewards it)

• Able to stay active and focused for a full 12-hour shift

• Comfortable in a hot, dusty plant; the material can irritate skin, so long sleeves and pants are required

• English or Spanish (training is in both)

• Willing to work nights after training

• Clean background check

Nice to have: warehouse, food production, foundry or other plant experience

The rotation alternates 36 and 48-hour weeks, with one to two weekdays off each week. Flame-resistant gear and up to two pairs of steel-toe boots a year are provided. Night shift applicants are contacted first.
