Production Associate
Location: Kennesaw, GA (onsite)
Type: Temp-to-perm · Full time · Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
A plastics materials manufacturer in Kennesaw is hiring production associates on a four-day week, with a three-day weekend every week. Strong performers move from assignment into a permanent job with full company benefits.
What you'll do
Work in mixing or packaging, depending on where the plant needs you
In mixing: set up and run blending equipment, weigh and load materials to recipe, and take samples to the lab
In packaging: run a small press and an automated packaging line, and label, count and palletize containers
Weigh and move materials with a walkie lift and mix small batches
Record your work in production logs and SAP through the shift
Follow safety, ISO and housekeeping standards
What you bring
2+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 1 year running machines (both required)
Comfortable around chemicals in full PPE: safety glasses, respirator, gloves, hearing protection and a chemical suit when needed
Able to lift 55 lbs often, help move up to 250 lbs occasionally, and stay on your feet for 10-hour shifts
Basic computer skills for documentation and SAP entries
High school diploma or GED
Reliable for a 5 AM start; must pass a drug screen
