Industrial Electrician

An industrial equipment and service company is hiring an Industrial Electrician to maintain heavy rolling mill equipment at a steel plant. The drives and controls run on Siemens, so Siemens experience moves you to the front of the line. Direct hire, with benefits and steady long-term work.
What you'll do
Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC mill stand drives, MCCs, VFDs and transformers
Keep instrumentation working: encoders, load cells, pyrometers and other sensors
Support Siemens PLC automation and control systems
Respond to electrical faults and carry out preventive maintenance
Work from schematics and wiring diagrams alongside controls and mechanical crews
What you bring
Industrial electrical maintenance at 480V three-phase and above, including MCCs, motors and drives
VFD or large drive troubleshooting experience
NFPA 70E arc flash training and LOTO proficiency
Steel, aluminum rolling or heavy industrial background strongly preferred
Openness to rotating shifts, and reliable transportation to a site outside Huntington
Nice to have: Siemens TIA Portal / S7 experience (lead with it), journeyman license (WV or reciprocal).
