Position Details

LOCATION: Miami, Florida (IN OFFICE ROLE/NOT REMOTE)

As a developer, you will be helping lead team efforts on the web application for the CoinRoutes platform.

Our modern and cutting edge application stack is composed of ReactJS applications combined with multiple backend-services written in Rust, Django and C++, running on AWS.

We are seeking a frontend-leaning full stack engineer to design and deliver fast, polished interfaces for sophisticated trading workflows. You will primarily own React-based client applications, while also building and extending the APIs and services behind them. This role suits someone who enjoys real-time data, thoughtful UX, and using AI tools and agents to move from idea to production faster without compromising quality.

We prefer candidates with prior Fintech / Finance experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own interactive trading features end to end - from product discussions and frontend architecture through API integration, testing, rollout and iteration.
• Build responsive, accessible React and TypeScript interfaces for order entry, portfolio/risk views, market data, analytics and reporting.
• Handle high-frequency streaming updates over WebSockets, with attention to rendering performance, data correctness and user experience.
• Design reusable components, maintainable state-management patterns and clear visual conventions across applications.
• Implement or extend Python and Rust based backend APIs, authentication, business logic and integrations when needed to deliver complete features.
• Partner with product, design, trading and backend teams; communicate tradeoffs, estimate work and take accountability for delivery.
• Write automated tests, investigate production issues, instrument applications and improve reliability and performance.
• Use modern AI development tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) responsibly to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, documentation and code review.
• Design and implement AI-powered product features, agents and workflow automations using LLM APIs, tool/function calling, structured outputs, retrieval, and integrations with internal services.
• Build reliable agent workflows with evaluation, observability, access controls, human approvals where appropriate, and safeguards for sensitive client and trading data.

Requirements:

Required Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Trading / accounting systems
• Modern JavaScript / CSS
• Python and / or RUST
• React / Redux & Understanding of algorithmic complexity and the react-redux life cycle
• Experience with UX/Design
• Experience with performance-intensive applications with frequent updates
• Mastery of responsive design techniques
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Understanding of Webpack and Babel
• Proficient in using developer tools to debug and troubleshoot performance issues

Nice to have:

• Financial Technology experience
• Redux-Sagas / Generator Functions
• Python/Django, Rust or C/C++; PostgreSQL, Redis, message brokers and AWS.
• TradingView Charts
• Agent frameworks or orchestration tools (LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Temporal, n8n or equivalents); MCP and tool integrations.

Qualifications:

• 4 or more years of experience
• Able to drive consistency and usability within the web UI
• Ability to thrive working in cross functional teams
• Demonstrated competency in making interactive web experiences
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical people alike
• Collaborative approach to problem solving
• Self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and experimentation
• Eye for detail and ability to turn product/design dreams into realities
• Preference for working with and tweaking experiences for the UI layer
• Strong software product lifecycle management experience
• The independence to manage, execute, and take initiative without supervision
