Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in statistical estimation methodologies, including small-area estimation, Bayesian/hierarchical modeling, or survey statistics.
• Proficiency in Python and R for advanced statistical modeling; strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced understanding of statistical analysis. While machine learning knowledge is valued, the focus is on rigorous statistical research rather than pure engineering or general ML implementation.
• Ability to distill complex statistical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical business stakeholders
• Possess strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willing to work onsite at our Yogyakarta Office.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced statistical estimation models (e.g., Bayesian or hierarchical models) to address specific business research questions.
• Develop and refine statistical frameworks that go beyond standard machine learning workflows to provide more accurate population estimations and trend analyses.
• Present complex statistical outputs through clear, intuitive reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making for leadership.
• Partner with existing in-house engineering teams to integrate statistical models into business operations and strategy.
• Ensure high standards of data quality and methodological rigor while maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations and internal best practices.
